IT Sector of Pakistan is facilitating significant growth under the supervision of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
The government has allocated 79 billion rupees this year for the information technology sector, taking into account the industry’s potential, reported by Radio Pakistan.
A large amount of this funding, approximately nineteen billion rupees, would go toward the establishment of IT parks in Islamabad and Karachi. The country’s expanding IT industry is anticipated to be supported by these hubs providing vital infrastructure.

Furthermore, the Pakistan Software Export Board would receive 22 billion rupees to strengthen its capabilities in promoting software exports and assisting local IT organizations.
The IT sector is quickly expanding as a result of SIFC support, and numerous start-ups are establishing themselves abroad.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has committed to increase the country’s IT exports and underlined the importance of a comprehensive IT sector package. He included a fixed tax regime in the budget and appointed a committee to investigate the matter. PM also intends to invest extensively in IT training for young people, with 45,000 already receiving such training.
